Middletown Lion Club gets new member Elyas Malik

PDG Buck Fisher inducted new Lion Elyas Malik into the Club recently.

Lion Elyas’ parents migrated from India to Pakistan and in the late sixties to the USA. He grew up watching the Lions Club sign in his home town in Karachi but only discovered the meaning and history of the Lions Club when he joined the Club. Lion Eylas is a grandparent with two daughters and two sons. He received his Bachelors degree from Seton Hall University and Masters from Farleigh Dickinson University. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He retired as Deputy Chief of Police in Newark, New Jersey, and had his own home improvement business for a number of years. He recently accepted a position at Frederick Community College as the Assistant Director of Risk Management and Public Services.
