
Three new members joined the Middletown Lions Club recently. They were inducted by Past District Governor Buck FIsher.
New Lion Brad Myers is affiliated with Edward Jones Investments. Originally from Ukih, California, Lion Brad moved to the area in 1998 as an employee of Bechtel. He met and then married a local girl and decided to remain in the area. A little more than three years ago he decided to leave Bechtel and go into the investment business with Edward Jones . He loves the company, which is privately owned, and working with people to improve their investment portfolio. His office is in Middletown.
Lion Minam Chi, originally from Korea, moved to the local area with her husband. For a time she worked with him in his dry cleaning business until she returned to nursing as a hospice nurse with the VA in Martinsburg. Presently she works in the rehabilitation unit while the new hospice center is being rebuilt.
Lion Ruth Falconer, wife of Lion Bill Falconer, was a nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital for five years. She resigned the job to be home with their three children as they grew and then became an Instructional Aide in Jackson Road Elementary School in Montgomery County. She worked there for 20 years finding it to be a wonderfully rewarding occupation
